This Privacy Policy explains how Peds MD PLLC (“The Peds MD,” “we,” “us”) handles information collected through this website, thepedsmd.com (the “Site”). It does not cover medical records or care delivered to established patients, which are governed separately under applicable law and our patient agreements, see also our medical disclaimer.
No patient health information on this Site
We do not collect, store, or process protected health information (PHI) directly on thepedsmd.com. Inquiry forms, scheduling, and supplement ordering are handled by third-party platforms (see below) under their own privacy and security terms. Please do not include sensitive medical details in general email or website forms that are not explicitly designated for that purpose.
Information we collect
- Information you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, and message when you submit a contact or inquiry form, or email us directly.
- Usage information, basic, non-identifying technical data such as browser type, device, and pages visited, collected through standard server logs and cookies to keep the Site working and secure.
- Cookies, small files used for essential Site functionality. The Site does not load third-party advertising or analytics trackers beyond what is described here.
Third-party services we use
Some features of the Site link to or embed services operated by other companies. When you use these, your information is handled under their privacy policies:
- JotForm, powers our membership and business inquiry forms (HIPAA-compliant infrastructure).
- Acuity Scheduling, used for booking certain non-member services.
- Fullscript, hosts our curated supplement dispensary; all ordering, payment, and fulfillment happen on Fullscript.
- Stripe, powers the member billing portal.
- Substack, hosts our newsletter; subscribing is handled on Substack.
How we use information
We use the information you provide to respond to your inquiries, evaluate membership fit, provide the services you request, and communicate with you. We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention & your choices
We retain inquiry information only as long as needed to respond and to maintain our business records. You may request that we update or delete the information you submitted through the Site by contacting us. You can also control cookies through your browser settings.
Children’s privacy
This Site is directed to parents and guardians, not to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the Site.
